Steven Geosits is a Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Clarity Services Group. Steven has more than 20 years of experience in Capital Markets, Finance, Operations, and Technology. Prior to founding Clarity, Steven was Chief Data Officer at Jefferies LLC. During his seven years at Jefferies, Steven held numerous senior roles including Global Head of Independent Price Verification and Global Head of Product Control. Prior to working at Jefferies, Steven worked at Morgan Stanley for over twelve years guiding the Fixed Income Product Control Team through the credit crisis and Barclays Capital through an intense period of growth. Throughout his career, Steven’s experience has led to an in-depth understanding of financial products, product valuation, corporate accounting, transaction processing, data architecture, data governance and related technology. Steven attended Baruch College, CUNY and graduated with a B.S. degree in Accounting.

Michael Burgess is a CFO, COO, Global Controller and Management Consultant with a background in International blue-chip banking organizations in New York, London, Zurich, Dubai and Sydney.
Much of Michael's 26 years in finance was spent with Morgan Stanley around the world, including Accounting Policy Executive Director and Global Tax Controller in NY, CFO for the Swiss Private Bank in Zurich, Global Controller for the MSCI division in NY, and lead of various global projects and accounting standard implementations. Before joining Clarity he was a Managing Director with Macquarie's financial management group in Sydney, Australia, NY and Jacksonville Florida.
Michael is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with Deloitte, and holds a FINRA Finance and Operations Principal Series 27 License, as well as an FAA license as an Instrument Rated Private Pilot for small aircraft. He earned his Law and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, and is based in our New York office.

Bill McDermott is a Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Clarity Services Group. Over the course of his career at Arthur Anderson, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, and Jefferies, Bill gained broad experience in Strategic Planning & Analysis, Finance Re-engineering and Expense Management. While at Lehman Bros, Bill participated in Commercial Real Estate transactions valued at more than $200 million and helped form and lead the first Expense Management team on Wall Street. At Merrill Lynch, he held numerous Strategic Planning roles including Global Director of Capital Planning. At Jefferies & Co he oversaw a global expense base of nearly $1 billion. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, is a CPA and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He also holds Series 7, 27, and 99 Securities licenses.

Christopher Springer has over twenty-five years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer building and diversifying financial services firms. Over the past two decades, Christopher helped evolve Converg-Ex from an early stage development company with fewer than 100 employees, to a global business with over 1200 employees, generating more than $600 million in annual revenues. From 2006 to 2014, he supported the growth of the company through eight acquisitions and provided financial leadership as the company pursued exit plans via an IPO and private company sale. Apart from transaction leadership, Chris is a regulatory expert who has worked with the DTC and SEC on regulatory development and reform. Chris is known for his industry-wide leadership qualities as well as his ability to build and direct the day-to-day finance, accounting operations and liquidity management operations. Chris began his career with Arthur Anderson & Co in New York, specializing in the Financial Services sector. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters and Bachelor degree in Accounting as well as Series 27 license.

Michelle is a seasoned Data Governance and Data Management executive with over twenty years of experience in Financial Services. Michelle has successfully managed numerous large scale projects for Bank of America and American Express Travel Services (TRS). Michelle is a Data executive who has extensive experience helping organizations improve their Data Governance practices. Michelle has led teams in establishing repeatable, scalable, and auditable IT Data Management structures and data processes such as Basel Risk Data Aggregation, CCAR Stress Testing and Liquidity Coverage Ratio. Michelle has led and managed teams of more than fifty data analysts and Data Management staff both on- and offshore. She has also supported and monitored the creation of Data Governance strategic plans. Michelle has both an MBA and a B.S. in Marketing, from Iona College and SUNY Buffalo-Amherst respectively.

Chris Mattrella has over twenty years of domestic an international capital markets experience in Finance, Operations and Technology, managing multifaceted data program, product control and audit teams. Prior to joining Clarity Services Group, Chris was the Global Data Program Manager supporting the construction and operation of the centralized data warehouse at Jefferies & Co. He previously worked at Morgan Stanley for over eleven years, holding several senior roles within Finance, Leading Product Control, Balance Sheet Analysis and Internal Trade Validation Teams. Chris began his career at Deloitte where he performed audit and advisory services for top tier U.S. financial industry clients. Chris earned his B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University. His distinctive areas of expertise include: Enterprise Data Management, Change Management, Business Process Optimization, Control Assessment and Remediation, and Finance & Product Control.

Hank Devlin is Operations Practice Lead of Clarity Services Group. Hank has over 30 years of experience across Capital Markets Operations, Finance and related Technology. Over the course of his career he has held several senior level positions and has attained vast knowledge of the front to back trade life cycle process spanning Fixed Income and Equity Cash Derivative asset classes. Hank has extensive experience in the outsourcing of Middle and Back Office Operations, Data Management and Technology services. Hank spent 24 years at Morgan Stanley, holding several front to back senior positions in Operations and Financial Product Control. Hank was a member of the FINRA Operations Committee that determined the covered functions and questions for the Series 99 Exam. He earned his BS in Business Management from Saint Peters University.

Vincent Pungello has over 25 years of experience in the field of Internal Auditing. His career focus has been on the global financial services industry, including investment banking, retail brokerage, inter-broker dealers, asset management, retail and international banking and real estate. Vincent has a proven track record of successfully creating and leading internal audit groups through various business changes, market cycles, mergers and acquisitions and key changes to the regulatory landscape. Prior to establishing the Internal Audit practice at Clarity Services Group, he served as the Global Head of Internal Audit at Cantor Fitzgerald. Vincent established a Global Finance and IT audit team consisting of thirty-one professionals spanning the U.S., Europe, Asia and South America. This group was responsible for covering all domestic and international entities of Cantor Fitzgerald Group, BGC Partners Inc., GFI Group, and NGKF Real Estate. Vincent also has extensive knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley testing requirements as well as data analytics, forensic reviews and fraud examinations.
Vincent is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Certified Financial Services Auditor. He is a graduate of Manhattan College and holds a B.S. in Accounting.
